Catering Update Summer 2020


Just wanted to pop in again to give an update of our operations for the next two months. On May 28, our State Governor announced that certain businesses would be allowed to begin soft-opening. As of June 1, 2020, restaurants could open their dine in services with 50% capacity and maintaining the 6ft rule. Other businesses such as gyms, hair salons, tattoo parlors, and malls could begin their opening as well with 25%-50% capacity (depending on the business).


That being said, mass gatherings are still prohibited. Not to mention, she only gave this with permission of a 30 day trial with possibility of change within that time or past that 30 days. Meaning...yes, there is still uncertainty and events are still on hold. Because of this, we are only operating with two services in mind right now:


For June and July, we will be doing delivery and pick-up only with limits on our provisions. Delivery is what you'd expect...we deliver your food at your specified time and as contactless as possible. All food items are in disposables.


Our next step to opening up services is our Set-Up service. Set-up includes our staff delivering the food and setting up your buffet table. From there, our staff takes their leave. This service is available if and only if we start to see a shift in increasing guest count for mass gatherings and with approval of buffet services. Right now, buffets have been shut down by the State Governor as they require not only close proximity and gathering but other "normalities" that have to be restricted at the moment.


Set-Up, Staffed Buffets and Plated events are on hold until further instruction is given by the state of New Mexico and then, at our own discretion to ensure the safety of you, your guests, and our staff. For events booked throughout our fall/winter season, we will be hoping for the best and will make adjustments when necessary. However, if you have not already booked with us, we will only be giving out proposals with delivery or set-up services.


Again, we will adjust as necessary when we can - whether that be loosening restrictions on events or tightening them. There is also the option for postponing the event date. If there is a time in which you feel uncomfortable with your date, you may contact us (we ask for a minimum of two weeks notice to prepare for the adjustment and halt any other operation) and let us know you want to halt your event and plan for a postponement. If you already have a new date at that time, let us know and we will adjust it and send back to you for a signature approval. If you do not have a date yet in mind, that is also fine. We will halt your event and await for your approval to move forward when you decide on a new date.


Please also note, that operations are slower than normal as we try and do our part to social distance. This means that your event contacts are currently mainly operating by email. Phone calls are being scheduled. Using our contact form is useful for general event questions.
